FREE LUNCH FOR SENIORS

Super Lunches are a huge hit. MMOW recently served a heaping plate of Lip-Smacking BBQ Ribs from the Bay Area's premier meat vendor to more than 130 individuals at the Margaret Todd Senior Center in Novato where nobody left hungry. When it's a Super Lunch, it's guaranteed that the food will amaze you.

Remember, Super Lunches are free to anyone over age 60 with a reservation. All other guests are only $5. Bring the whole family!

Keep posted. Our Super Lunches are always publicized on the MMOW home page. Please call our main office if you have any questions, suggestions or comments about the Super Lunches in your area.

MMOW is a new division of RACS- a 501c3 Non Profit organization established in 1977 and has the experience of over ONE MILLION SENIOR MEALS SERVED AND DELIVERED. RACS is short for Russian American Community Services Association of San Francisco, Inc. Federal Tax ID # 94-2515360. A response to the feature article in the Marin IJ dated 3/27/2009

The Nutrition Site Program through Marin Meals on Wheels at the Margaret Todd Senior Center of Novato, San Rafael Community Center on B Street, and the Pickleweed Community Center of San Rafael will not be cutting or eliminating any meal services. Funding for the Nutritional Site Program is established by the Older Americans Act, a Federal Program, and thus any services funded through the Older Americans Act here in Marin County will remain intact.

If, for some reason, a partner site is forced to close its doors, we will reallocate the meals to a new site within the same community. Marin Meals on Wheels wants to assure everyone that we will continue operations as scheduled, serving the Senior Community of Marin County.
